Beyond Academics-International Dimension

In today's world, education cannot be limited to just classroom learning. Today’s student’ will be tomorrow's global citizens. They require a range of experiences and knowledge that will help them build the capacity to contribute to the development of a multicultural society.
In Delhi Public School-Bopal, we are encouraged to exchange ideas, knowledge and experiences. Learners not only get engaged in online exchange of knowledge but are also occupied in collaborative projects through Real Time Tech learning tools. Cross cultural exchange of thoughts and virtual communication at DPS-Bopal is just a click away! In a fast-shrinking world, it is imperative that the students and teachers get a chance to visit abroad as well.
National and international student and teacher exchange programmes are offered to students and faculty which foster understanding and acceptance of an array of different cultural and community perspectives. Precisely one such trip to Singapore has been organised from 7 November 2019 to 13 November 2019 and nineteen students and two teachers of Delhi Public School - Bopal will be travelling to this charming city.
This sovereign island city-state has surprises galore! From recycling plants to libraries, this education hub will prove truly beneficial as the students will get an insight into Singapore’s rich culture. They will get the opportunity to experience and understand a society different from their own.
Singapore is a diverse country with people from different backgrounds and a variety of different cultures. This is exactly what will help the students see the beauty of intermingling cultures. The way Singapore has combined all of its contrasts into one single flourishing community will also help the students understand international relations other than enabling them to build a deeper understanding of different morals, beliefs and traditions. This trip will give them a motley of fond memories and learnings that will stay with them all their life. This will help them become better global citizens.
