Where Passion and Possibilities Meet

The visit of a lifetime recounted by the students themselves. A kind of recollection of the various memorable experiences of the learners. Just a few incidents that will remain with the students all their life in the form of fond memories and nostalgic episodes. Here is an exhilarating reminiscence.

Our school organizes trips to different countries to make the children’s experience cultures of these countries. This year our school organized a trip to Singapore and I was a part of this trip, which was full of loads of fun. At first, I was nervous and afraid as it was my first foreign trip of all time, but thanks to the teachers who took good care of us. We left for Singapore on the night of 7thnov. 2019 and reached there the following day. We went to our hotel which looked luxurious. Two children had to share one room, so we all quickly chose our partners and freshened up. We paid a visit to many wonders while our stay in Singapore. My favorites include the Universal Studios, Sentosa Island and the Singapore Zoo- Night Safari. Our trip was an educational tour so places like the NEwater Bottling Plant, Singapore Science Center and the Boeing Center taught us a lot. I was surprised to know that Singapore acquires water in 4 different ways which are so much fascinating. These are rain water harvesting, new water or recycled water, desalination of water and importation of water from Malaysia. Other spots like the Merlion Park, S.E.A Aquarium, Luge ride, cable car and the Vivo city mall were an unforgettable memory. I enjoyed the trip a lot.

This trip included fun, adventure, sightseeing and education. It was unbelievable and  incredible to land in Singapore with my friends. It was for the first time that I was going abroad without my family. I was really excited. In fact, we were all eager to know about this wonderful place .We were enthusiastic and wanted to explore new and interesting things.
I was amazed at seeing how Singapore is succeeding day by day. Physically small but economically giant, this beautiful island is located in Southeast Asia. It came into existence in 1963.The government of Singapore had to struggle hard in the early days. The people belonged from different backgrounds and most of them were not educated. Despite its small domestic market and a lack of natural resources, Singapore successfully came out from financial crisis. Today, the Singapore economy is one of the most stable in the world, with no financial debt. Now, Singapore is a top tourist destination. The Singapore economy is mainly driven by experts in electronics manufacturing, financial services, tourism and the world's busiest cargo sea port. On the final daylight, a visit to the City Gallery explained the past of Singapore. Singaporeans grew by conserving their heritage. They kept important reminders of their land and struggles of their forefathers. It reflects their achievements in building Singapore. These conserved buildings and structures which gave this young nation a sense of history.I really cherished this trip.
